2. Countdown Timer

Q: What is the countdown timer for?
A: The countdown timer lets you set a specific duration in minutes and seconds. Once you press “Start,” it counts down to zero. When time runs out, you see a visual alert and hear a notification if sounds are enabled.

Q: How do I set a countdown?
A: Enter the number of minutes and seconds in the input fields. Click the “Start” button to begin the countdown. You can pause or reset it by clicking “Reset.”

: Can I mute or unmute the alarm sound?
A: Yes. Click the speaker icon to toggle sound on or off. When the icon shows a speaker without a slash, sound is enabled. Click again to disable it.

Q: When is a countdown timer useful?
A: Use it for cooking, timed presentations, work sprints, or any task that requires you to track a fixed amount of time.

3. Stopwatch

Q: What does the stopwatch measure?
A: The stopwatch measures elapsed time in hours, minutes, and seconds. It starts at zero and counts upward.

Q: How do I operate the stopwatch?
A: Click “Start” to begin timing. Click “Pause” to stop the count temporarily. Click “Reset” to clear the elapsed time back to zero.

Q: Can I record laps or splits?
A: The current version does not support lap splits. It provides a simple continuous count that you can pause, resume, and reset.

4. Pomodoro Timer

Q: What is a Pomodoro timer?
A: A Pomodoro timer is designed to support the Pomodoro Technique, where you work in focused 25-minute intervals followed by short breaks. Our Pomodoro tool counts down from 25 minutes by default.

Q: How do I start a Pomodoro session?
A: Click “Start 25:00” to begin a 25-minute focus session. When the timer reaches zero, you receive a visual and audible alert. Click “Reset” to set the timer back to 25:00 for your next session.

Q: Can I change the default Pomodoro length?
A: The timer is preset to 25 minutes to align with the standard Pomodoro method. Custom durations are not currently supported but may be added in a future update.

Q: What should I do after the timer ends?
A: Take a short break (usually 5 minutes) to rest your mind. After the break, you can start another Pomodoro session.

5. Alarm Clock

Q: What can I do with the alarm clock tool?
A: The alarm clock allows you to choose a specific hour and minute for a one-time alert. When that time arrives, you see a notification and hear an alarm sound if enabled.

Q: How do I set or clear an alarm?
A: Use the time picker to select your desired alarm time. Click “Set Alarm” to activate it. Click “Clear Alarm” to cancel a pending alarm.

Q: Will the alarm work if I switch tabs or minimize the browser?
A: Yes. As long as the page remains open in your browser, the alarm will play even if you switch to another tab or minimize the window.

6. Timezone Calculator

Q: What is the timezone calculator used for?
A: The timezone calculator compares the current local times of two locations anywhere in the world. It shows both times and the hour-difference between them.

Q: How do I calculate time differences?
A: Select a first timezone from the dropdown, then select a second timezone. Click “Calculate” to view each zone’s current local time and the difference in hours.

Q: Which timezones are available?
A: The dropdown includes major global regions (UTC, New York, London, Shanghai, Tokyo, Sydney, etc.). More zones may be added over time.

Q: Why is a timezone calculator helpful?
A: It simplifies scheduling calls, meetings, or virtual events with participants in different parts of the world. No need to do manual offset math.
